Since the very beginning, this website has been by choice smaller than many resources for the gifted out there and I chose to only display what I felt to be the absolute best of the best information. I recognize that there are many, many resources out there and I do not choose to confuse you with conflicting thoughts. To make things easier for you, I found what made sense to me and displayed it here. I know that many of these children and adults have Learning Disabilities that may have been masked over or ignored due to their outstanding mental ability or talents as children. I am dedicated to helping the parents of these children learn to celebrate the incredible gifts of their children while at the same time coping with problems that have been labeled with such terms as Hyperactivity, ADD, Dyslexia or Dysgraphia. I am also dedicated to helping you to understand the very big difference between "Academically Talented" and "Intellectually Gifted". I'd like to help gifted adults learn to accept their incredible gifts and learn why the adults in their lives never knew how to help them as children. I am relieved that many parents are so much more informed today than I was. So, instead of trying to fight the school systems, they're putting their kids right into college. Our tax dollars are not being used for the education of ALL of our children. And I firmly believe that our school systems have a responsibility to these children too. But at least these kids are starting to be educated properly, even if the college setting may not be perfect for all of them. Along with trying to help the parents of these children, I also wish celebrate those adults who found their way through the maze no matter how hard it was to get through. It never ceases to amaze me when I get an email from someone who had no clue what the riddle was inside of them until they read my pages. I've helped many. I know that. And now so many of these beautiful healed creatures choose to grace this world with their gifts. I promised myself at the very beginning that I'd never try to fog my message by trying to make money from my resources. And furthermore that I'd never showcase any teacher, advocate or psychologist here that I felt is only in it for the money. Because of this, I have decided to branch off into something new while hopefully keeping the integrity that these pages were built on. Since living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I've had the opportunity to see and meet some really incredible talent. I'd like to spotlight these gifted individuals here. I also know that there are many Musicians, DJs, and other very talented Performing Artists out there, many of whom are grossly underpaid and underappreciated. And just as I successfully helped you to understand the true definition of and worth of the Highly Gifted Child, I am also dedicated to helping you to understand the true worth of the Musician and the DJ. I have already launched our Entertainment section to showcase the best talent in the Bay Area and beyond. Other Artistic Resources are coming soon...
