Nimbus the Storm Bunny!

Nimbus came to us just after Easer of 2005 and he's named after a very special dog we knew.

He's a Neatherland Dwarf and Dutch Dwarf mix.

He only 7 months old. He used to live with a little boy and girl who were far to young for him. The kept trying to hold him and dropped him every time. The parents were dismayed when the little bunny started to grunt and bite the kids. So they got rid of him by putting him outside to fend for himself! We'll we rescued him and almost immediately was thrilled with his surroundings. It took us only one day to train him to use a litter box. And after some spraying of electrical cords with some pretty nasty tasting stuff, he was free to roam the living room and kitchen. He's just a lovable little bunny who loves lots of attention and is so much fun to have around!  Anyone who's seen a full Binky knows why we practically roll over laughing when he does one. When a rabbit does a Binky, he jumps into the air and twists its head and body in opposite directions (sometimes twice) before falling back to the ground. This can be done while standing in one place, or while running, which is really weird looking, and is sometimes called the "happy bunny dance." It's hysterical. Totally hysterical!

We're so glad we got him before some hawk or raccoon did:)
